• Visit the 1940s building, in major disrepair, currently housing afterschool programs.
• Explore building plans to transform it into a new functional multipurpose facility.
• Get to really know these kids, so terribly desperate for a real chance at life.
• Enjoy the generosity of the First Haitian Baptist Church hosted picnic.
SCHEDULE
9:45 Meet at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2300 S. Dixie Hwy, WPB (parking available). Coffee/pastries provided. Bus leaves promptly at 10:00 am.
11:30 Tour 1940s building (200 SW 8th Ave in Belle Glade) serving afterschool and summer programs to 120+ kids. Enjoy music by the kids and picnic lunch by the Church.
1:15 Return to WPB by 2:00 pm.
